Group Adventures

These are private group tours organized by Pursuit Adventure & Travel on behalf of an organizer (individual, group, association or corporation). The organizer is responsible for the rooming arrangements, departure time and to fulfill their booking commitments. Pursuit Adventure & Travel looks after the logistics of the trip and may provide templates, documents, promotional material, website and electronic booking system to facilitate the coordination of the trip by the organizer.

General Terms & Conditions

Our general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy apply in addition to the Terms & Conditions specific to Adventure Tours listed below. Please review them carefully.

Fares, Prices and Availability

All fares and prices quoted are subject to availability. Prices are valid until the expiration of the quote. Adventures can be withdrawn without notice. Availability is not confirmed until a deposit or payment has been received and confirmation is provided by Pursuit Adventure & Travel.


A minimum 20% deposit per person is usually required at the time of booking (actual deposit will vary, check the specific adventure for deposit details). The balance is usually required a minimum of 30 days prior to departure. In the case that the payment schedule outlined in your agreement is not followed your booking may be canceled without refund.

Payment is due upon booking for all adventures departing within 30 days.

Please review your Group Adventure Agreement for the complete schedule of payments for your adventure.


For some activities you will receive a personalized Pursuit Adventure & Travel voucher. You must provide the original Pursuit Adventure & Travel voucher in order to redeem those adventures. Those booking cannot be honored or redeemed without presenting a valid voucher.

For security reasons, you may be required to present a valid Photo ID when redeeming the voucher. This is done to help prevent fraud. If the adventure is purchased as a gift, or for another person please advise us at the time of booking.

Your voucher can be confiscated and immediately canceled without refund if it has been altered, if the information does not match your Photo ID or if fraud is suspected.

Cancellation Policy

The following policy applies in most cases, please review you Group Adventure Agreement for complete details for your adventure:

  • Cancellation 30+ days prior to departure will result in the deposit being forfeited.
  • Cancellation within 30 days of departure will result in the full amount being forfeited.
  • Cancellation charges are calculated from the day cancellation is received by email or fax.

Each situation is unique but unfortunately there are no exception to these charges.

Pursuit Adventure & Travel reserve the right to cancel tours if insufficient bookings have been received prior to departure. In the event that a tour is cancelled by us for this reason, confirmed bookings will be offered an alternate date. If no suitable alternate date is found, they will receive a full refund.

In certain circumstances Pursuit Adventure & Travel or its suppliers may require changes to the services they provide. These changes may apply to adventure dates, prices, inclusions, coverage, age requirements, etc and Pursuit Adventure & Travel reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service, tour, ticket or product that you have booked at any time for any reason. Where feasible, advance notice will be provided to allow for amendments and changes to the booking. If you are dissatisfied with the alternatives offered, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price for the unused adventures.

Pursuit Adventure & Travel is not responsible for any additional costs associated with delays due to situations outside of its control, such as weather conditions or highway closures.

Passenger or Itinerary Change

All passenger or itinerary change request must be made to our customer service representatives.

A passenger list, including rooming arrangements must be provided 30 days prior to departure or as per your Group Adventure Agreement. An administrative charge of $50 will be applied to any late passenger list. Failure to provide a passenger list can result in the cancellation of your booking without refunds.

Itinerary changes and add-on adventures can be done as specified in your Group Adventure Agreement.

You can change the passenger name & information up to 15 days prior to departure at no cost. Passenger name and information changes within 14 days of departure, if authorized by Pursuit Adventure & Travel, will incur a $30 administration fee.

If you make changes to passenger or itinerary you may incur additional fees based on the availability, pricing of the alternate adventure chosen, change of occupancy or any other fees charged by Pursuit Adventure & Travel suppliers.

Discount and special offer pricing may be forfeited if you make changes to passengers or the itinerary after booking.

Certain adventures, tickets and activities cannot be changed due to requirements of Pursuit Adventure & Travel suppliers. All changes are based on availability and Pursuit Adventure & Travel cannot guarantee the success of any change request.

Rooming Arrangements

The organizer is responsible to make the rooming arrangements, based on the occupancy quoted in the Group Adventure Agreement.

Passports, Visas & Insurance

It is the responsibility of all passengers, regardless of nationality and destination to check with the appropriate consulate for current entry requirements.

As entry requirements can change without notice, Pursuit Adventure & Travel recommends that you re-check with the appropriate consulate closer to the departure date.

Pursuit Adventure & Travel strongly recommend that you obtain a comprehensive Travel Insurance Policy prior to departure. If you cancel your trip or significantly alter the travel dates many policies will reimburse the cost of cancellation fees and related expenses.

NSF Cheques

A one time $40 charge will be applied to all returned cheques. Returned payments may result in your booking being cancelled without refunds.

GST, Tax and Fees

Unless otherwise stated, GST is not included in our prices. All park fees, tourism levies on accommodation and room taxes are included.

Damage Deposits

The organizer is responsible for any damages or incidental charges to accommodation properties and for any damage to equipment while on our tours. All participants are responsible to provide a credit card deposit to the accommodation provider at check-in as required. Please contact us for more details.


All participants must sign a waiver prior to departure. Additional waivers for specific activities may be required by third parties.

Unused Activities, Modifications & Amendments

The adventures are based around travel which can involve risk and be unpredictable. Pursuit Adventure & Travel cannot guarantee departure or arrival times. Weather and conditions may also change quickly, resulting in activities being substituted or cancelled. Road closure may also lead to tours being cancelled or rerouted. All adventures are sold as a package and, except in the case of some add-on activities, cannot be separated into individual components for refunds.

Undesirable Behaviour

Pursuit Adventure & Travel reserves the right to terminate a client's participation in any activity or tour when he/she engages in behavior that is deemed by its employees to be unsafe for any of the participants (including oneself), causes damages to our property or the property of our suppliers, refuses to sign the required waivers and/or is acting in a way that prevents the other participants from enjoying their tours. In the event that participation is terminated no refunds will be issued and the participant will be responsible for all costs associated with its return to the departure point.


Pursuit Adventure & Travel guides must be notified of all injuries while on tour (whether they happened during a guided activity or not). When required, the guides will assist EMS or the facility's first aid provider. An ambulance will be called if transportation to a hospital is required. The guides will arrange a pickup from the hospital on the way home if possible. If a longer stay is required, the guides will be available to make arrangements for lodging and transportation but the guest will be responsible for all costs associated with these arrangements.
